A bolt hole after a break up became home.

Tim* moved out of one of our shared houses last week. He arrived back in April 21 for 2 weeks following a relationship breakdown. He’d been living in a hotel for a while spending a fortune and missing a kitchen. Moving into our house enabled him to save considerable on the hotel costs he was paying. He also had access to the kitchen which meant he was able to get back on track with his healthy eating instead of relying on take outs.

He has had a number of different house mates during is stay. One was a student doctor working at a GP practice in Saltburn who stayed for 6 months then moved when his placement changed,

This is what he said about his stay.

‘It has been a pleasure staying at your premises. I wouldn’t think twice about contacting you if I came unstuck again in the future.’

He’s been a great tenant. We wish him well in his new house.

  • not his real name.
