International student gets a warm welcome

February 2022 brought with it a number of international students who had places to study a wide range of subjects at Teesside University. One of them wrote this lovely review on AirBNB.

“Coming into a strange place for the first time, i was coming with a lot of fear and uncertainty. Thank you for making me feel safe and comfortable. Even before arrival you have been in touch and you were always eager to help me settle in well. I had concerned about coming in at night but you allayed my fears and you were already waiting for me at the train station to pick me up. Thank you for the food you got for me the fist night, it actually lasted me through the days i was in mandatory isolation. You were always there when i needed someone to advise me on how settle in. Thank you so much for the hospitality . I really appreciate you”

This tenant stayed at two different properties in the Station Road area before moving to a house in Middlesbrough to be close to the University.
